Ashley Wood Festival 2013

Patron: Ralph Fiennes Artistic director: Jim Driscoll

"This is what all festivals should be like" (Fyfe Dangerfield)

The Ashley Wood Festival has been putting on high-quality music, poetry, theatre, and visual art since 2011, presenting artists such as Guillemots, BJ Cole, and Le Navet Bete, amongst others. Ashley Wood Farm is situated in the Cranbourne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the Wiltshire village of Tisbury. It is an old tenant farm that has been converted into an arts and seminar venue (see here for more information). The stunningly beautiful and sensitively converted barn is the main performance space, with an excellent acoustic that allows us to present all our acts entirely unamplified. With numbers strictly limited, this guarantees a directness and intimacy unmatched by other festivals. This year, we are putting on a summer season of events on the 6th July, 10th August, and the 28th September (see here for further details).
